Last weekend was Labor Day which meant an extra long weekend for all the students. Some new made friends and I used the chance to go down to Charleston in South Carolina. Staying in a beautiful house was just the right base to enjoy some hours at the beach with a really warm Atlantic (30°C), as well as some culture by going downtown. Historic sites, houses in all kinds of styles, parks, good seafood – really difficult to stay off the camera! It was also my birthday, so there was no better way to celebrate it! Vergangenes Wochenende war hier Feiertag, damit hatte man einen extra Tag frei. Diese Chance haben ein paar neugewonnene Freunde und ich genutzt, um nach Charleston in South Carolina zu fahren. Ausgangspunkt war ein wunderschönes Haus, wovon man direkt zum Strand gehen konnte. Der Atlantik war richtig warm (30°C)! Kultur gab’s auch in der Stadt; historische Stätten, viele verschiedene Häuser, Parks, gutes Essen- da konnte man richtig viel fotografieren! Außerdem war es mein Geburtstag und das Wochenende die beste Art, ihn zu feiern! Aber schaut selbst….
