How to Battle Fall Depression

I am really honored to have my friend Tori on the blog today. We met while I lived in th US and her family has welcomed me with open arms. Since then, we’ve met up several times in different countries, and I am glad to have Tori and her thoughts in my life.

Her brother and sister-in-law got a dog and he provides the most entertaining stories.

During autumn, I tend to find myself experiencing mild depression and anxiety. Frankly, the weather burns me out.

In recent years, I’ve been trying to find tools to battle this downward spiral that undoubtedly ends up in unnecessary wallowing.

In this picture, Murphy the dog is trying to play while I diligently try to exercise. My tools are the following:

1. Companionship

2. Endorphins

3. Laughter

Each of which were captured in this moment.

Welcome to Day 17 of 31 Days of Mundane Narratives! For the month of October I will be a storyteller. Together with a few friends we will browse the forgotten photos in our galleries and tell the stories that are so often lost in busyness.

  1. Murphy dog says “Come back to Horsham and visit with my Grandmasters any time”. They said they will try to keep it light…..even in an election year. Woof!
